 Being a hotel butler you are expected to respond promptly and formally, especially when you know the communication will be directly with the senior Management, or a very successful client, slight negligence in typography can turn the message or email to be wrongly interpreted, You learn how to empathise and not to point out, understand the Nuances of inter department communication and small push and pull in the journey to elevate guest experience.  

Interpersonal Relationship :

 As a Hotel Butler you act like a compass, navigating teams in the back ground to work in coordination, the last minute turn around while the suite is not ready in case of an early arrival of an VIP client, or upselling the suite and that few minutes you have to turn the suite around, ensuring the handwritten welcome letter signed by the General Manager, the customised amenities prepared by the culinary team, the towel which is embroidered to clients name is there at the first Sight when they open the door of their home away from home. 

I few minute delay in coordination can leave the hard work or many left unnoticed and clients not being wowed.  

Personalisation : 

 As a Hotel butler, you learn that every guest is different and personalisation creates a long-lasting memory and encourages the client to be a loyal customer. While you notice and address which side of the bed the client sleeps so you place the slipper for his convenience, or the fruit he likes to be always available on the basket placed in the room, ensuring the chef cooks the steak to the right consistency. While you absorb all these subconsciously, it becomes a part of you, and it reflects in all spheres of life and surely assists in your personal and professional journey ahead. 

Networking : 

 As a Butler you are in a privileged position where you spend time with the Celebrities, HNI and UHWNI’s which not many would have access despite of their aspirations, while you exchange time you also understand and absorb some traits that have made them the 1 % and can also get you some good links and future recommendations with other industry that are focused on similar audience network. 

High Earning Potential :
